Trump Organization Launches Cellular Service and $499 Smartphone, Expanding Beyond Real Estate and Crypto

The Trump Organization on Monday announced the launch of Trump Mobile, a new mobile network service and smartphone offering, marking its latest move to expand beyond real estate and digital ventures. The launch coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Donald Trump’s 2015 presidential campaign kickoff. Now serving again as President of the United States, Trump’s business empire continues to push into new consumer markets — though it also raises renewed concerns about potential conflicts of interest.

Trump Mobile offers a $47.45-per-month plan — called The 47 Plan — that includes unlimited talk, text, and data, along with several additional benefits. These include 24/7 roadside assistance through Drive America, full device protection, telehealth services for physical and mental health care, and free international calling to over 100 countries, with an emphasis on supporting U.S. military families overseas. The service is contract-free, does not require a credit check, and will run on all three of the nation’s major cellular networks, enabling nationwide 5G coverage.

The Trump Organization also introduced the “T1” smartphone, a $499 device featuring a gold-colored metal case etched with an American flag. The phone is designed and built in the United States, aligning with the brand’s stated goal of promoting American manufacturing.

“Hard-working Americans deserve a wireless service that’s affordable, reflects their values, and delivers reliable quality,” said Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization. Donald Trump Jr., also an Executive Vice President, emphasized that Trump Mobile aims to “change the game,” offering an America-first alternative to major wireless carriers.

In addition to core mobile services, Trump Mobile highlights its U.S.-based customer service model. Customers can switch to the network by calling 888-TRUMP45 and will speak directly to a human agent rather than an automated system.

While the service operates under the Trump brand, it is not developed or sold directly by the Trump Organization. Instead, T1 Mobile LLC licenses the Trump name under a limited agreement that may be revoked or terminated under certain conditions.

Trump Mobile represents the Trump Organization’s broader effort to diversify beyond its traditional sectors of real estate, hospitality, and, more recently, digital media and cryptocurrency. The company views the wireless space as a new frontier aligned with its political and consumer branding strategy — and could potentially leverage President Trump’s reputation to further accelerate its growth.
