In celebration of its 25th anniversary, HKEX (00388.HK) is organizing the “Gong Tour”.

The “HKEX Gong”, which is normally only used in the IPO debut Gong-strike listing ceremony and celebratory activities, will be on parade at 9 locations in Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories, including Tsim Sha Tsui, the West Kowloon Cultural District and the Kai Tak Sports Park, etc., starting from tomorrow (20th) to 3 July.

Although the HKEX Gong is often seen in IPO listing ceremonies, Hong Kong people seldom have the opportunity to experience it in person, Carlson Tong, Chairman of HKEX, said.

Tong hoped that, by taking this opportunity, HKEX can reach out to the community and let the public and tourists experience the charm of Hong Kong as an international finance center.
