Financial Times releases documentary about Michael Saylor and MicroStrategy
According to online reports, the Financial Times has released a documentary about Michael Saylor and his company MicroStrategy to discuss their $40 billion Bitcoin investment strategy. Under the leadership of founder Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy has transformed itself from a software company into a Bitcoin investment vehicle and currently holds approximately $50 billion in Bitcoin. The film points out that MicroStrategy raised funds by selling stocks and issuing convertible bonds to buy bitcoin in large quantities, a strategy known as the "unlimited funding loophole." However, the sustainability of this highly leveraged investment strategy relies on the continued rise in Bitcoin prices. The video also mentioned that although MicroStrategy's stock has risen sharply due to Bitcoin's rally, its financial stability still faces challenges.
