CleanSpark faces a $185 million tariff risk due to importing Bitcoin miners "

According to online reports, U.S. crypto mining company CleanSpark disclosed that some of the bitcoin mining machines it imported from April to June 2024 were identified by U.S. customs as originating in China, or faced punitive tariffs of up to US$185 million. CleanSpark denied the allegations, saying that its purchase contract and supplier documents indicate that the mining machine is not made in China and will resolutely respond to the allegations. According to reports, mining company IREN has also encountered similar disputes before, involving a total amount of US$100 million.
