UK MP: Clear crypto regulations should be in place to prevent consumers from turning to unregulated offshore providers
Online reports, DL News reported that members of the British Parliament have warned that the UK is lagging behind in encryption regulations, which may lead consumers to switch to unregulated offshore providers. New co-chairmen Ginder Singh Josan and Edward Vaizey called on lawmakers to set clear rules. Singh Josan said the government's failure to pass meaningful legislation could push businesses into friendlier jurisdictions and even lead to consumer money flowing into questionable schemes.
