According to online reports, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Hester Peirce (nicknamed "Crypto Mom") said at the Coin Center dinner that regulators have entered a new stage of being more friendly to cryptocurrencies and apologized for being too strict in the past. She called for the development of the industry as soon as possible, and mentioned that the SEC has established a crypto task force in the past year, dropped multiple cases and launched "Project Crypto" to update relevant rules.
