A giant whale that has held BTC for 12 years sold 250 BTC pieces an hour ago, still holding 4000 BTC pieces
According to online reports, according to monitoring by the chain data analyst Ember, a whale address that has held BTC for 12 years transferred 250 BTC (approximately US$29.68 million) to Binance an hour ago. The whale address received and hoarded 5,000 BTC(approximately US$1.66 million at the time) 12 years ago (November 2013), when the price was only US$332. He started selling the 5,000 BTC pieces after 11 years (November 2024). In the eight months so far, he has sold a total of 1,000 BTC pieces (approximately US$102 million), with an average selling price of US$102,410. It still holds 4,000 BTC(approximately US$474 million).
