Trump may ask Murdoch to testify in court within 15 days on Epstein's reporting
Internet reports that according to foreign media, U.S. President Trump asked a judge to order media tycoon Rupert Murdoch to testify in court within 15 days. This is part of Trump's 10-billion-dollar defamation lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal for reporting on the Epstein incident. Trump said that given the executive's advanced age, it was reasonable to testify in court early. Trump's lawyers said in a court filing on Monday that Murdoch should be asked to answer preliminary questions so they could be left for trial, even though the lawsuit was only filed last week. According to documents, the 94-year-old Murdoch has experienced "multiple health problems" in his life and has recently had a health crisis. Murdoch reportedly fainted while having breakfast with an executive in London earlier this year.
