Musk's xAI plans a new round of financing target valuation soared to US$200 billion

According to online reports, according to the Financial Times, citing people familiar with the matter, Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company xAI is preparing for a new round of financing. The company's valuation may be as high as US$200 billion, a tenfold increase from the beginning of last year. The financing, which is under discussion and could be officially launched as early as next month, will be the company's third major stock offering in less than two months. The company raised $10 billion in July through loans and cash investments and sold $300 million of shares through a secondary stock offering in June. The deal will also consolidate xAI's rapid rise in valuation. In May 2024, xAI's valuation in the "Series B" financing was US$18 billion.
