Circle announced the launch of Circle Payments Network on its main network, supporting USDC real-time cross-border settlement

According to online reports, according to official Circle news, the main network of Circle Payments Network has been officially launched. The network is a blockchain-based payment coordination protocol that allows banks and payment service providers to use USDC on a public blockchain for real-time settlement. Circle Payments Network supports functions such as business-to-business supplier payments, cross-border remittances, money management, corporate periodic payments, and wage and bulk payments. The first mainnet participants, including Alfred, Tazapay, ConduitPay and RedotPay, will open stablecoin payment channels in Latin America and Asia. Circle plans to expand its business to Nigeria, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Colombia, India, United Arab Emirates, China, Turkey, the Philippines, Vietnam and Argentina in 2025.
