According to online reports, cryptocurrency trading platform Coinbase announced on Wednesday the launch of an "everything app"-"Base App", which aims to attract more users to enter the crypto economy system. This new application, which replaces Coinbase Wallet, integrates wallet, transaction, and payment functions, as well as social media, instant messaging and Mini programs support, all running on its independently developed Ethereum Layer 2 network Base. For Coinbase, the move is intended to break through the limitations of its core cryptocurrency trading business and reach a wider range of potential users.
