Trump: Trade deal expected to be reached in three to four weeks

Internet reports that President Donald Trump has said he hopes to reach a trade deal as soon as possible with U.S. partners seeking to reduce tariffs. "I would say that in the next three to four weeks, we're done," Trump said of the deals in a Time magazine interview published Friday. "I am close to reaching these agreements. Now, some countries may ask for adjustments and I will consider it, but I am basically fully prepared,"he added. In an extensive interview, Trump defended his trade policies that have unsettled financial markets and prompted foreign governments to race to Washington to reach deals. (Jin Shi)
