France launches investigation into alleged "foreign interference" on Platform X
According to online reports, the Paris Prosecutor's Office in France issued a press release on July 11, saying that the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) was reported to have manipulated algorithms to carry out foreign interference, and the Paris Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation. The investigation will focus on two suspected criminal acts, namely, organized sabotage of the normal operation of the automated data processing system and organized illegal extraction of data from the automated data processing system.
