Deutsche Bank: Federal Reserve may not cut interest rates until December
Analysts at the Deutsche Bank Research Center said in a report that the Fed may keep policy rates unchanged before cutting interest rates in December and then further relax policy next year, according to online reports. "Our basic assumption remains that the next rate cut will be in December, followed by two more rates of 25 basis points each time in the first quarter of 2026." Analysts said the easing of tensions between China and the United States has reduced the risk of further deterioration in the U.S. labor market, but other tariff measures could keep inflation at uncomfortably high levels.
