CME plans to launch four cryptocurrency reference interest rates and real-time indices on June 2
According to online reports, derivatives market CME and cryptocurrency benchmark index provider CF Benchmarks announced plans to launch four cryptocurrency reference rates and real-time indexes: Arbitrum, Ondo, NEAR and Sui. These new benchmarks will use pricing data from at least two current component exchanges in the CME CF benchmark reference rates and real-time index suite, including Bitstamp, Bullish, Coinbase, Crypto.com, Gemini, itBit, Kraken and LMAX Digital to provide market participants with clear and transparent pricing data. To more accurately evaluate investment portfolios or create structured products, the CFE reference rate and real-time index currently cover 28 cryptocurrencies.
