Federal Reserve Daly: Interest rate normalization would be considered if there were no tariff measures
Internet reports that Federal Reserve Daly said that concerns about the impact of tariffs on inflation are not as serious as when they were initially announced; if there are no tariff measures, interest rate normalization will be considered; and continued decline in inflation is good news. He also said that economic fundamentals are developing in the direction that may require interest rate cuts, and unless the labor market is weak, it seems more appropriate to cut interest rates in the autumn.
