Trump's Tokyo Dinner focuses on Japan's investment in the United States, with OpenAI and Salesforce executives present

Internet reports that Trump plans to have dinner with multiple CEOs, including Salesforce(CRM.N) CEO Benioff, Toshiba CEO Taro Shimada, and Lotte CEO Hiroshi Mikitani. The move aims to promote Japan's investment in the United States and end Trump's trip to Tokyo. OpenAI co-founder Brockman, Honda President Minhiro Sanbu, and Anduril Industries founder Palmer Rach were also among the invited guests. The dinner will be held at the official residence of U.S. Ambassador to Japan George Glass. Under the trade framework agreed earlier this year, Trump reduced and limited tariffs on Japanese goods in exchange for Japan's commitment to provide $550 billion in funding for U.S. projects.
