US SEC delays decision on Solana ETF application

According to separate regulatory filings filed on Monday, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has extended its deadline to make decisions on multiple exchange-traded fund proposals that track Solana, the Internet reported. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said it needed more time to process legal and policy issues related to the filings of 21Shares, Bitwise, VanEck and Canary Capital. However, the delays do not reflect the possibility of regulators approving or rejecting the funds. "The Securities and Exchange Commission said Monday: " Filing a lawsuit does not indicate that the committee has reached any conclusions on any of the issues involved. "The committee seeks and encourages comments from interested parties on proposed rule changes."
