According to online reports, on the basis of extensive soliciting opinions from all parties, the China Securities Regulatory Commission studied and drafted "Several Opinions on Strengthening the Protection of Small and Medium Investors in the Capital Market", which was officially released today. In accordance with the idea of "addressing core concerns, striving to be pragmatic and effective, and being well-founded in the law", the "Several Opinions" focus on key issues of concern to small and medium investors, focusing on strengthening the protection of small and medium investors in the process of issuance and listing, and creating fairness that is beneficial to small and medium investors. The institutional environment for trading, consolidating the protection responsibilities of small and medium investors in operating institutions, severely cracking down on illegal activities that infringe on the interests of small and medium investors, and further promoting the construction of a diversified resolution mechanism for securities and futures disputes. Twenty-three specific measures were proposed in eight aspects: better leveraging the functions of investor protection agencies, improving the protection system and mechanism for small and medium-sized investors during the termination of listing, and strengthening the legal protection for the protection of small and medium-sized investors. Relevant measures are conducive to improving the investor protection mechanism, enhancing the inherent stability of the capital market, effectively protecting the legitimate rights and interests of small and medium investors, and effectively boosting market confidence.
