Internet reports that after Musk and Trump publicly quarreled, a senior Russian lawmaker joked earlier today that Russia might provide Musk with political asylum. "If he does (need asylum), of course, Russia can provide it," said Dmitry Novikov, first deputy chairman of the Russian State Duma for international affairs. Kremlin spokesman Peskov said in an earlier phone call with reporters that the dispute was an internal matter of the United States and that the Kremlin believed Trump "would handle the situation himself."
