US government's shutdown continues US Senate's 10th veto of provisional appropriations bill

Internet reports that on October 16 local time, the U.S. Senate voted 51 - 45 to once again fail to advance the Republican Party's provisional appropriations bill. It is understood that Republicans need 60 votes to advance the bill, which will fund the government until the end of November. This is the past two weeks. After the U.S. government shutdown, the Senate voted 10 consecutive times to veto the interim appropriations bill.
