Anthropic: Claude prohibits the use of "China Holding Company"

Online reported that on September 5, Anthropic announced that it would immediately stop providing Claude to groups or their subsidiaries whose majority shares are held by China capital. This policy applies not only to the mainland of China companies, but also to subsidiaries established overseas, cloud service transfer entities or organizations with investment entities with China background. Anthropic said in an announcement on its official website that the move was in response to legal, regulatory and national security risks. In addition to China companies, the policy also applies to other entities such as Russia, Iran, and North Korea that the United States considers "adversarial nations."
