The Central Cyberspace Administration deployed and launched a special action to "clean up and rectify the abuse of AI technology"
On April 30, it was reported that the Central Cyberspace Administration recently issued a notice to deploy a three-month special action to "Clean Up and Rectify the Abuse of AI Technology" nationwide. The relevant person in charge of the Central Cyberspace Administration said that this special action will be carried out in two phases. The first stage will strengthen the source management of AI technology, clean up and rectify illegal AI applications, strengthen AI generation and synthesis technology and content identification management, and promote website platforms to improve their detection and identification capabilities. The second phase focuses on using AI technology to produce and publish prominent issues such as rumors, false information, pornographic and vulgar content, impersonating others, and engaging in online water army activities. It focuses on cleaning up relevant illegal and unhealthy information, and handles and punishes illegal accounts, MCN institutions and website platforms.
