Report: Cryptography industry lost $92.5 million due to DeFi vulnerability in April
Online reports, according to The Block, according to the latest report from web3 security service platform Immunefi, the encryption industry lost US$92.5 million due to DeFi vulnerabilities in April 2025, a year-on-year increase of 27.3%. Among them, UPCX and KiloEx had the largest losses, with losses of US$70 million and US$7.5 million respectively. Ethereum and BNB chains remain the most common targets of hackers, accounting for 60% of the monthly losses. At present, stolen funds from KiloEx and ZKsync have been successfully recovered.
