Bloomberg: Victims of Coinbase data breach include Sequoia Capital executive Roelof Botha
Online reports, Bloomberg reported that the personal information of Roelof Botha, managing partner of Sequoia Capital, was stolen in a previous hacking incident against Coinbase, involving his phone number, address and sensitive information related to Coinbase accounts. This is the first time that information about Botha has been leaked, showing that the hackers are targeting top industry figures. Botha has worked with Peter Thiel and Elon Musk, joined Sequoia in 2003, invested in YouTube and Instagram, and was promoted to the top leader of Sequoia in 2022.
