Coinbase reveals data theft affects 69,461 users
According to online reports, according to documents filed with the Maine Attorney General's Office, Coinbase disclosed that in a leak in December 2024, the personal data of 69,461 individuals was leaked. Coinbase previously pointed out that the data breach affected less than 1% of users and leaked "Know Your Customer"(KYC) information such as names, addresses and emails. The company said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that passwords, private keys and user funds were not affected.
