Federal Reserve research report warns: economic outlook is unclear or zero interest rate risk is reappeared "

According to online reports, the latest research report jointly released by the New York Fed and the San Francisco Fed pointed out that although the current short-term borrowing costs are relatively high, there is still the possibility that the Fed's short-term interest rate target will approach zero again in the next few years. The report, co-written by New York Fed President Williams, shows that the medium-and long-term risk of the Fed's interest rate target returning to ultra-low levels is "currently at the low end of the observation range of the past 15 years." But the researchers added that due to the recent rise in uncertainty, the possibility of a return to near-zero interest rates in the medium to long term "remains significant."
