Suspected North Korean hackers compromised Coinbase Indian outsourcing company a few months ago, causing user asset losses of more than US$400 million
According to online reports, Binance co-founder Zhao Changpeng issued a warning on the X platform that encryption projects should pay attention to North Korean hacker security threats. He said that a few months ago, a large Indian outsourcing services company was hacked and leaked user data on a large U.S. exchange, resulting in a loss of more than US$400 million in user assets. Crypto Fearless quoted the tweet and said that combined with previous reports and public information, this large U.S. exchange should be Coinbase. According to online detective Zachxbt, Coinbase users lose as much as US$300 million every year due to social engineering scams.
