Denza N9 gets 2026 refresh with dual-tone paint.

Denza, a premium brand of BYD, has officially announced that the 2026 Denza N9 will launch on September 17. Official images of the updated large plug-in hybrid SUV have already been released, showcasing new two-tone paint options.

The current Denza N9, positioned as a large plug-in hybrid SUV, is priced between 389,800 and 449,800 yuan (54,200 and 62,500 USD). It offers a CLTC pure electric range of 202 km and a CLTC combined range of 1302 km, featuring dual-chamber air suspension, the God’s Eye B (DiPilot 300) assisted driving system, and the DiSus-A intelligent air body control system.

The 2026 Denza N9 maintains the brand’s design philosophy. New for this model year are two two-tone colour schemes: Purple Jade Gold and Red Elegant Gold. The vehicle measures 5258mm in length, 2030mm in width, and 1830mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125mm.

Inside, the Denza N9 offers a 13.2-inch 2.5K LCD instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch 2.5K central control screen, and a 13.2-inch 2.5K screen for the front passenger. There is also a 50-inch AR-HUD and a 26-speaker Devialet audio system, all powered by the DiLink 150 cockpit. Interior colour options include Platinum Sand, Grey, and Cloud Brocade Rice.

The N9 features a 2+2+2 six-seat configuration. The front passenger enjoys a zero-gravity seat, while all front and second-row seats offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The second-row seats also provide horizontal sliding capability, dual small tables, dual 50W wireless charging pads, a 17.3-inch ceiling screen, and a built-in car refrigerator. The third-row seats come with electric adjustment and heating.

Under the hood, the N9 features a plug-in hybrid system centred around a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a thermal efficiency of 44.13%. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 207 horsepower. Combined with three electric motors (front and rear), the system boasts a total power of 680 kW (912 hp). This setup allows the N9 to achieve a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds. The vehicle offers a CLTC pure electric range of 202 km and a combined range of 1302 km.
