OpenAI will open an office in South Korea

Online reports, according to foreign media reports, OpenAI has established a legal entity in South Korea, seeking to further promote the adoption of its artificial intelligence technology. The ChatGPT maker said in a press release on Monday that it plans to open an office in Seoul in the coming months and is hiring staff to support cooperation with businesses and policymakers. OpenAI data shows that South Korea has the largest number of paid ChatGPT users outside the United States. This will be OpenAI's third office in Asia after Japan and Singapore. The San Francisco-based company said it currently has nearly 40 employees in Japan and another 20 in Singapore.
