US judge quashes Mango Markets attacker fraud charges
Online reports, Cointelegraph reports that U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian dropped Eisenberg's commodity fraud and market manipulation charges. The judge ruled that the evidence provided during the trial was not sufficient to support the jury's conclusion that Avraham Eisenberg made material false statements to Mango Markets. Eisenberg was convicted in April 2024 of wire fraud, commodity fraud and commodity manipulation for using a vulnerability in the decentralized exchange Mango Markets to make a profit of US$110 million in 2022.
