Online reports, according to TheBlock, Summer Mersinger, a member of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), plans to resign. May 30 is her last day in the CFTC and will become CEO of the Blockchain Association on June 2. Summer Mersinger was nominated by former President Joe Biden to serve as a Republican member of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and was sworn in March 2022.
