Online reports that OpenAI announced the launch of a research preview version of CODEX, a cloud-based software engineering agent. Codex will be available to ChatGPT Pro, Enterprise and Team users on Friday, and will soon be available to Plus and Education users. Users will be able to use Codex access in the coming weeks at no additional cost. After the free access rights end, speed-limited access and flexible pricing plans will be introduced.
