Robinhood released operating data for August: total assets of the platform reached US$304 billion, a year-on-year increase of 112%

Online report, Robinhood Markets, Inc. (Nasdaq: HOOD) released operating data for August 2025. As of the end of August, the platform's total assets reached US$304 billion, an increase of 2% from the previous month and a significant increase of 112% year-on-year. The number of capital customers was 26.7 million, although it decreased slightly by 10,000 from July (affected by the forced return of approximately 180,000 low-balance accounts), it increased by 2.4 million year-on-year. Net deposits in August were US$4.8 billion, and cumulative net deposits in the past 12 months reached US$61.6 billion. In terms of trading, the nominal trading volume of stocks was US$199.2 billion (year-on-year +107%), and the trading volume of options contracts was 195.5 million (year-on-year +33%). In terms of cryptocurrency, Robinhood app transaction volume was US$13.7 billion (year-on-year +154%), and Bitstamp exchange transaction volume was US$14.4 billion (month-on-month +21%). The margin balance was US$12.5 billion (year-on-year +127%), and the securities lending income was US$53 million (year-on-year +165%).
