The U.S. House of Representatives plans to vote on the interim appropriations bill next Monday

Internet reports that according to five Republican officials, Republican leaders are planning to hold a House vote on a temporary spending bill next week to extend government funding until November 21, the Friday before Thanksgiving. House Appropriations Committee Chairman Kohl confirmed on Thursday that a vote would take place next Monday, a move that would advance a measure that Democratic leaders have signaled would veto. Cole said: "We can do it. The gap is not big. But it's also difficult to get it done in the time we have left, because I may have to finish it before the end of next week." If the provisional appropriations bill passes the House, Senate Republicans may also put the bill on the agenda next week. The date of November 21 has not yet been fully finalized.
