CryptoQuant CEO: Strategy purchases faster than Bitcoin mining and gains deflation advantage
On May 10, CryptoQuant founder and CEO Ki Young Ju issued an article on the X platform saying that Bitcoin is deflationary, Strategy (Formerly MicroStrategy) is buying bitcoins faster than mining bitcoins. They hold about 555,000 bitcoins and are in an illiquid state with no plans to sell, which means Strategy's bitcoin positions can gain a-2.23% annual deflation rate, and the deflation rate of bitcoins held by other stable institutional holders may be higher.
