US judge once again ruled that the Trump administration violated court order by linking immigration enforcement to funding
Internet reports that according to CCTV News, Federal District Judge William Smith of Rhode Island ruled on October 14 local time that the Trump administration violated its previously issued court order and once again implemented almost the same policy, allowing states to cooperate with federal immigration law enforcement as a prerequisite for obtaining funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Smith pointed out in his ruling that the U.S. government's move was exactly what he explicitly prohibited in his September 24 ruling.
