Iran: Fordo nuclear facility only partially damaged above ground and can be repaired

According to online reports, according to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, Menan Leahi, a representative of the Iranian Parliament's Qom Province, said early today (June 22) local time that contrary to what U.S. President Trump claimed, Iran's Fordo nuclear facility has not been seriously damaged. The main damage was on the ground and could be repaired. He said he believed that "all items that may pose a threat to nearby residents" in the facility had long been cleared and there were no reports of nuclear radiation. He stressed that Iran regarded the U.S. attack as a manifestation of direct U.S. involvement in the war and that now is "the time for Iran to decide when and how to respond to the United States."
