The model, rebranded locally as the Seal 6 EV, went on sale in Malaysia on September 26 and is BYD's seventh model in the country, according to a statement released yesterday.
The Qin L EV is offered in Malaysia in Dynamic and Premium trims, priced starting at 100,000 Malaysian Ringgit ($23,740) and 115,800 Malaysian Ringgit, respectively.
The Dynamic variant features a rear motor delivering 95 kW (127 hp) peak power and 220 Nm peak torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds.
