A Florida judge rejects a request to unblock the grand jury transcript in the Epstein case
On Wednesday, a federal judge in Florida rejected a request from the Justice Department to make public the transcript of the grand jury's investigation into Epstein, the Internet reported. Attorney General Bondy pushed for the release of grand jury materials in the Epstein case in an effort to dispel the anger of Trump's basic magas, who urged the government to disclose Epstein's so-called "client list." Earlier this month, Trump's Justice Department and the FBI said no such client list existed, and Bondi said she would not release more material. Despite the rejection in Florida, the Justice Department has another opportunity, and they also asked two federal judges in New York to unblock the grand jury transcript, where prosecutors filed charges against Epstein and his co-conspirator Gislane Maxwell. Federal courts in New York usually take a less strict attitude towards grand jury confidentiality.(Politico)
