Analyst: Powell deals with Trump, Trump's "selective" cognitive dissonance

According to online reports, Eamonn Sheridan, an analyst at the financial website Forexlive, said that Trump did what he was good at when visiting the Federal Reserve headquarters: dealing with the media. Powell, who was present together, looked uncomfortable. However, when the boss visits, some things have to be done. Trump once again asked Powell to cut interest rates, while also saying house prices must be lowered. Sheridan ironically said that low interest rates may cause house prices to rise, and cognitive dissonance is one of Trump's advantages.
