Tether and Circle freeze the associated addresses of Funnull, a Philippine fraud company
Internet reports that according to MistTrack monitoring, the U.S. Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on Funnull in the Philippines because of its important role in the "pig killing plate" scam. Tether and Circle subsequently froze two addresses related to this: 0xd5ed34... ed510: 17,594.75 USDTs and 0 USDC were frozen. TNmRfn... t8: 2,361 USDTs were frozen. The addresses were found to be associated with multiple platforms such as HuionePay and addresses labeled by blockchain analytics company MistTrack as "theft","phishing" and "pig butcher scammers."
