According to online reports, U.S. digital brokerage firm Robinhood (NASDAQ: HOOD) announced the addition of XRP and Solana micro futures products, and launched a micro version of the existing Bitcoin Friday futures, further enriching its encryption product line. Micro futures contracts have a lower funding threshold than standard futures. Earlier this year, Robinhood launched cash-settled crypto futures including Bitcoin, Microbitcoin, Bitcoin Friday and Ethereum. In addition, Robinhood just completed a $200 million acquisition of crypto exchange Bitstamp this month and intends to acquire WonderFi backed by Kevin O'Leary to accelerate its global deployment.
