According to the SEC, the market value of Alibaba's holdings increased by 50% month-on-mon

According to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Alibaba (BABA.US) submitted its first quarter U.S. stock holdings report (13F) ending March 31, 2025.

In the first quarter, the total market value of Alibaba's holdings was US$810 million, compared with US$540 million in the previous quarter, a 50% increase from the previous quarter. Alibaba added 0 stocks to its portfolio in the third quarter, reduced its holdings of 2 stocks, and liquidated 1 stock.

Alibaba currently holds a total of 4 stocks. Xpeng Motors (XPEV.US) ranked first, holding approximately 34.87 million shares with a market value of approximately US$720 million, accounting for 82.4% of the investment portfolio. The number of holdings decreased by 8.13% from the previous quarter.

Weibo (WB.US) ranked second, holding 9 million shares with a market value of US$85.23 million, accounting for 15.79% of the investment portfolio. The number of holdings remained unchanged from the previous quarter.

PERF.US ranked third, holding approximately 927,000 shares with a market value of approximately US$1.73 million, accounting for 1.55% of the investment portfolio. The number of holdings decreased by 68.87% from the previous quarter.

In addition, Alibaba liquidated its holdings in Best Inc. (BEST.US) in the first quarter.
