Xpeng Sept deliveries breakdown: Mona M03 14,546 units, P7 8,110

Xpeng's (NYSE: XPEV) Mona M03 electric sedan maintained robust performance last month, while the new-generation P7 sedan began contributing significant volume following its recent launch.

The Mona M03 delivered 14,546 units in September, marking its 13th consecutive month exceeding 10,000 units, according to data compiled by CnEVPost from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

This represents a 45.13 percent year-on-year increase, though a 5.14 percent decrease from August's 15,334 units.

The electric sedan remains Xpeng's top-selling model, contributing 34.98 percent of the electric vehicle (EV) maker's 41,581 September deliveries, though down from 40.66 percent in August.

From January to September, the Mona M03 delivered 131,989 units, accounting for 42.14 percent of Xpeng's total deliveries during the same period.

Launched on August 27, 2024, the Mona M03 currently offers four variants with starting prices ranging from RMB 119,800 ($16,790) to RMB 139,800.

Cumulative deliveries of the Mona M03 reached 180,598 units by the end of September, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

Beyond the Mona M03, Xpeng's current delivery lineup includes the P7 sedan, P7+ sedan, G6 SUV (sport utility vehicle), G7, G9 SUV, and X9 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).

The P7 delivered 8,110 units in September, becoming Xpeng's second-highest volume model. This represents a 513.93 percent year-on-year increase and a 737.81 percent rise from August.

The electric sedan contributed 19.50 percent of Xpeng's total September deliveries.

Xpeng launched the new-generation P7 on August 27 and commenced nationwide deliveries on August 28.

The G6 delivered 7,202 units in September, marking a 21.7 percent year-on-year increase and a 9.79 percent rise from August.

The SUV accounted for 17.32 percent of Xpeng's September deliveries, making it the company's third-highest delivering model for the month.

From January to September, the G6 delivered 57,218 units, a 73.57 percent year-on-year increase.

Xpeng launched updated versions of the G6 and G9 SUVs on March 13, featuring upgraded configurations and reduced pricing.

The P7+ delivered 5,144 units in September, contributing 12.37 percent to Xpeng's monthly deliveries and ranking as the fourth-highest selling Xpeng model for the month. This volume represents a 6.13 percent increase from August's 4,847 units.

The G7, launched in early July, delivered 2,968 units in September -- a 56.45 percent decrease from August's 6,815 units -- contributing 7.14 percent to Xpeng's September deliveries.

The SUV was launched on July 3, with deliveries commencing on July 7.

The G9 delivered 1,843 units in September, down 21.47 percent year-on-year while up 20.38 percent month-on-month.

From January to September, the G9 delivered 21,500 units, a 9.15 percent increase year-on-year.

The X9 delivered 1,768 units in September, up 28.58 percent year-on-year and up 6.89 percent month-on-month.

From January to September, X9 deliveries totaled 16,120 units, down 7.50 percent year-on-year.
