Fidelity subsidiary NFS has become the majority shareholder of Metaplan, accounting for 12.9%

According to online reports, Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich announced on platform X that National Financial Services has become the company's majority shareholder. As of June 30, National Financial Services LLC held 84.4 million shares of the company, accounting for 12.9% of the company's total share capital, worth approximately 130 billion yen (approximately US$820 million). NFS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fidelity Investments and typically serves as a custodian for retail and institutional investors who purchase shares through the Fidelity platform.
