Since January 1, 2025, the tokenized U.S. Treasuries sector has grown by 71%
Internet reports that on May 2, the cumulative value of tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds reached US$6.5 billion, setting a record high. But in just one week, the number increased by 6% to $6.89 billion and attracted about $390 million in new capital. Since January 1, 2025, the tokenized U.S. Treasury bond sector has grown by 71%, with valuations increasing from US$4.03 billion to the current US$6.89 billion. BlackRock's U.S. Dollar Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) has injected US$36 million since May 2, increasing its total size from US$2.871 billion to US$2.907 billion.
