On the 8th and 19th, according to official news and online data, 90% of the OKB link change progress on Ethereum L1 has been completed. This OKB chain swap is part of OKX's implementation of its "Native Gas Token-OKB Economic Model Upgrade" in its announcement on August 13. In the future, OKB will exist in multiple chains in a new cross-chain model and serve as an X Layer native Gas token. It is reported that the X Layer 2 network is a highly flexible global on-chain ecosystem that connects the Ouyi and Ethereum communities. Its vision is to put everything on the chain.
