Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) has added four countries to its global footprint as the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker continues its overseas push.
The company's global expansion accelerated in October with market entries into Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Cambodia, it announced today on Weibo.
Xpeng launched models including the G6 SUV (sport utility vehicle), G9 SUV, and P7+ in these countries, according to the company.
To date, Xpeng's global sales and service network spans 49 countries and regions, with plans to further deepen its worldwide footprint, the company said.
Xpeng has significantly intensified its overseas market expansion efforts over the past two years, aiming for overseas markets to contribute half of its sales within the next decade.
In the first nine months of this year, Xpeng delivered 29,723 vehicles overseas, a 118.63 percent year-on-year increase, accounting for 9.49 percent of the company's total deliveries during the same period, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
In September, the company achieved a record 5,004 overseas deliveries, up 79.35 percent year-on-year and marked a 65.81 percent rise month-on-month.
