Huang Renxun: China is one of the world's largest AI markets and a springboard for global success

According to online reports, Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun said in a conference call with analysts that China's US$50 billion artificial intelligence market is actually closed to U.S. industries. He said: "China is one of the world's largest artificial intelligence markets and a springboard for global success. Half of the world's artificial intelligence researchers are in China, and winning the platform of China will lead the world." The current U.S. policy is based on the assumption that China cannot manufacture its own artificial intelligence chips. Huang Renxun pointed out that this assumption has always been problematic, but it is obviously wrong now. "The question is not whether China will have artificial intelligence. The question is whether one of the world's largest artificial intelligence markets will run on a U.S. platform."
